Welcome to Sympose Studio

Direct, delegate, edit, and finish music in a local-first workspace built for creator–agent collaboration.

Sympose Studio is a local-first desktop workspace where you can direct an AI agent over a real, editable music project. Start with language, a blank arrangement, a MIDI performance, or recorded audio. Then arrange clips, edit notes, shape instruments and effects, automate parameters, and export the result you want to keep.

Sympose can take on substantial musical work, but you remain the author. Agent changes are connected to the tracks, clips, and devices they affect so you can audition, refine, and revert them in context.

One project, several ways in

You do not need to begin with a perfect prompt. You can:

  • Direct the agent with a musical goal, constraint, reference, or production task.
  • Play or record with a MIDI controller, typing keyboard, or audio input.
  • Import material and use it as the start of an arrangement.
  • Edit directly in the arrangement, Clip view, Device view, or automation lanes.
  • Plan broader work before allowing Sympose to execute it.
  • Learn in context while you make the musical decisions yourself.

These are not separate workflows. Select a clip you played, ask Sympose to develop it, adjust the result in the piano roll, change its sound, and ask for another revision without leaving the project.

The core loop

  1. Set an intent through language, performance, reference, constraints, or direct editing.
  2. Explore or plan while Sympose reads the relevant project context.
  3. Execute through structured changes to the real project.
  4. Review what changed, where to listen, and what remains uncertain.
  5. Iterate by refining, reverting, editing directly, or choosing a new direction.

You can finish with a mix inside Sympose or hand off MIDI, stems, or the project to another workflow.
