Review and revise agent work

Follow progress, inspect changes, audition results, recover interrupted work, and revert a run.

An agent run is the review unit for delegated work. It connects your intent to the steps, project changes, warnings, and result.

Follow progress

Progress cards show what Sympose is working on and what remains. Tool results identify the affected project objects without exposing private file paths or internal identifiers.

You can keep working elsewhere while supported agent work continues. The run stays bound to its original project and chat, even when you change the visible context.

Inspect the changes

A completed run should make it easy to answer:

  • Which tracks, clips, devices, effects, or automation lanes changed?
  • What was the musical or production intent?
  • What warnings, failed steps, or unresolved dependencies remain?
  • Can the change be reverted?

Follow links from the run to the exact musical region or device, then audition it in the arrangement.

Refine or revert

Agent work applies to the live project; it does not lock manual editing behind a separate preview state. You can:

  • Refine the result with a follow-up request
  • Edit the affected material directly
  • Revert the reversible operations from the run
  • Retry a failed step when the underlying problem is resolved

A later manual edit may make a broad revert unsafe. Sympose reports conflicts instead of overwriting newer work.

Stop, resume, and recover

Stopping cancels the active work. Reloading, restarting, or temporarily losing the stream does not necessarily cancel the underlying run. When recovery is available, Sympose reconnects to the durable run state and resumes without duplicating completed mutations.

Questions and approvals create checkpoints. Sympose waits at the checkpoint until you answer, skip, cancel, or resume as allowed by the task.

Evidence and artistic judgment

Sympose can report objective checks, project state, and explicit analysis. Its critique may still be uncertain. Playback alone does not prove that the agent heard the audio, and the final artistic decision remains yours.
